Cauliflower Bhajiyas/Fritters


This is one of the most easy dishes you can make for quick tea time snack.Most of us will always have some left over cauliflower, so instead of wondering what dish to make of the leftover cauliflower making fritters is an easy and tasty option.
Ingredients
Cauliflower -1/2 cut in florets bite sized
Red chilli powder-1/4 tsp (adjust according to taste)
Cumin-Coriander powder -1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Ajwain seeds-1/4 tsp (optional)
Chickpea flour- 4 big tbsp
Rice four- 2 big tbsp
Salt
Oil for frying

Method-
1. Cut the cauliflower into bite sized florets.Boil some water on the gas and add cauliflower.Cook for 2-3 minutes or till half done.Do not overcook the cauliflower.
2.Drain the water and marinate the cauliflower with salt, little red chilli powder, half of the cumin coriander powder,and half the turmeric powder.Mix well
3. In another bow add chick pea flour and rice flour.To this add salt the remaining spices like chilli powder, cumin coriander powder, ajwain seeds & turmeric powder.
4.Pour water and make batter of semi thick consistency.
5.In a pan heat some oil, when oil become hot dip the cauliflower in the batter and then place in oil, and fry on medium heat for 4-5 minutes or till you get a golden brown color.
Serve hot for tomato ketchup or chilli sauce
